In December 2019, VinFast, the largest automobile manufacturer in Vietnam, and Huahai signed a VCU development project for C-SUV models. In these short months, the Huahai technical team and the VinFsat technical team worked together remotely and finally completed the commissioning and release of the prototype according to the planned time.
On May 28th, on the city streets of Vingroup in Hanoi, VinFast experts and chiefs conducted a test drive of the prototype, and the test drive was highly praised.

During this research and development process, Huahai Technology provided the complete vehicle controller hardware, bottom layer and application layer software, completed the system scheme design, software function realization and unit testing, software and hardware integration and testing, and remote assistance to complete the road test and Real vehicle calibration; the whole vehicle realizes the functions of high voltage power on and off, torque management, mode management, energy management, thermal management, fault diagnosis and protection, and at the same time, it also realizes the national standard AC and DC charging functions.
The controller development process adopts a model-based V-shaped development mode, and uses MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow/ECUCoder graphical modeling methods to establish software projects, completely zero manual one-click automatic code generation, and application software (ASW) can be completed at the same time And basic software (BSW) model automatic code generation, ECUCoder is an automatic code generation tool based on Simulink, used to configure ECU control algorithm model and basic software model, and automatically generate product code. Support mainstream chips for automotive electronic control systems from well-known manufacturers such as Freescale, Infineon, and ST. ECUCoder provides a powerful basic software Simulink module library, which can conveniently and intuitively configure basic software parameters through a friendly user interface and automatically generate basic software codes from Simulink models. Because the software can flexibly and deeply access and configure basic software parameters, the basic software code generated by the model can support the two stages of controller rapid prototyping and product development.
The core value of ECUCoder is to shorten the development time of several months of controller basic software to several hours.

The vehicle controller hardware U3B provided by Huahai Technology is a new generation of mass-produced electronic control unit, which supports the rapid prototyping and batch matching of controllers such as battery management system BMS and vehicle controller VCU. RapidECU-U3B is the third-generation product of Huahai Technology’s 32-bit automotive controller. The definition, design and verification of the entire product are carried out in accordance with the ISO26262 standard.
